Well aware this stuff has been suggested but I think it's something that needs to be in the game, faster movement speed while crouching, the ability to crawl, and vaulting over cover so you don't need to worry about getting stuck on something that's just slightly too tall for you. There's a ton of other practical mechanics that would be effective but they don't work that well in first person, dodge rolling, actually being able to hide and press up against cover, being able to give each other boosts or climbing on top of other cover or walls. I hate fps and 3rd person is just plain better but if you can find a way to add a wider range of movement, well i don't complain about making improvements. |

What, brink? never played it, all of that just seems to make sense, I want my gameplay to be a bit more epic and cinematic instead of just strategic |

3rd person is awkward for you because you're used to it, the west is in love with fps even though 3rd person makes more sense, it's just allows alot more flexibility and cures the tunnel vision, not to mention the psychological aspecs.
And I don't prefer tactics over cinematics or vice versa, a game like this needs both, well i suppose it doesn't NEED to look cool but it's more boring without it, honestly I'd like to see them work in stuff like that in an fps and do it well.
but at a minimum, being able to get over low cover and crawling, and for god's sake lower the scope wobble for snipers it's obnoxious. |
